Product Description

Roof Prism

Optical Prisms are ideal for ray deviation, or for adjusting the orientation of an image.
An Optical Prism's design determines how light interacts with it.
When light enters an Optical Prism, it either reflects off an individual surface or several surfaces before exiting, or is
refracted as it travels through the substrate.
We JLGD offers various kinds of high quality precision prisms including Right Angle prism, Roof prism, Wedge prism, Rhomboid
prism, etc.
The angle accurancy could be 3 arc senconds. With strong working R&D team, we could process the prism as the customer demands.

Applications

Customization Service

Our precision quartz optical roof prisms excel in these core scenarios:
Astronomical Telescopes: Delivers upright, correctly oriented celestial views
Surveying Instruments: Ensures accurate beam deviation for total stations and theodolites
Aerospace Optics: Withstands extreme temperatures in targeting scopes and satellite payloads
Industrial Metrology: Enables precise light path redirection for 3D scanners and CMMs
Medical Imaging: Optimizes light transmission in surgical microscopes and endoscopes

Material & Coatings: Fused silica (JGS1/JGS2/JGS3), UV-grade quartz; custom AR coatings for UV/visible/NIR bands
Dimensions & Tolerances: Miniature (5mm×5mm×5mm) to large-format (100mm×100mm×100mm) sizes; tight angular tolerance (±3 arcsec) and surface flatness (λ/10)
Structural Tweaks: Chamfered/rounded roof edges; integrated mounting holes/grooves for easy assembly
Production Flexibility: 3–5 day rapid prototyping; support for small-batch (10–100 units) and large-volume (1000+ units) orders
